I am trying to change the front wheel cylinder on my 64. I got the master cylinder replaced no problem. The back wheel cylinder have two bolts that hold it on. The front looks like it held on by the post that sticks out that the springs from the drums brakes are connect to. ( at the top) Does the post just on screw? Cant get it to turn and before I brake it I wanted to make sure that this was right? Or how do you get it off? Its the one that has the big open loop above the wheel cylinder. Thanks for anyones help!!

Well I went home and was hopeing I'd get lucky and sure enough the post at the top that holds all the main spring actually does unscrew! First time for everything! Never would have guess that! You just need like a 1" wrench (If I remember right) to unscrew it! Then reassemble!

seems like i had a similar situation on my 67 c-20 years ago but my memory may be fading...that 67 required tools i'd never needed before or used since its demise
mostly a complete 3/4" socket set
