Isn't this one of the easiest ways to install bear claw latches in one of these trucks? Sure seems to beat the previous methods. Complete bolt-on kit.

A step by step install can be see here. Webrodder did the install on a pair of aftermarket doors and shows the issues that he had with the doors not quite being right. On a factory door, however, this kit fits like a dream.

The difference is this kit is designed to install bear claw latches in place of the outdated and often faulty rotary style latches that the truck came with. Usually you would either have a lot of body work ahead of you to complete this install or you would have one heck of a body shop bill for doing it. In the end you are usually left with bear claw latches in the pillar and a striker bolt on the door, no interior handles and no exterior handles or locks. At best you could cut and weld up your doors to accept a latch and still have to try to figure out the math and make custom pieces to get the exterior handles to work or shave them. With the Altman Easy Latch Kit you make one simple cut in your door and bolt everything in. The specially designed bear claw latches work with your exterior and interior handles. The new striker plate mounts in the existing striker location. The latch plate mounts to the existing locations in your doors. Everything you need is included in the kit and we are always available for questions. The kit even comes standard with stainless steel striker bolts.

All your link shows is how they look when installed. I'll pass this info along and see if any of my editors would be interested in the latches.
