It can't be too much of a dumb question cause I'm not sure myself, I asssume they are 15x6. But then again I'm not the one to tell you since I always run the big boys.

I think your right Tony, I believe originals were 15x6. Tires may be a 205-225 65 15. Call up your local tire shop. They should have a huge directory on what size tire you would have.

Yo Auntrattie!  Actually it's not a dumb question at all. If I were you, I'd give the folks at Classic Parts of America, in Kansas City, Mo. a call and ask someone there to look up the tire spec. size in their service manuals that they sell. Then you would have a size to cross-over to today's tire dimensions. Hope this helps.

With the prices of tires and wheels now a days and the extra weight going stock is a smart thing to do.

No Tony!  I'm still in the garage on a regular basis. Busy buildin a 51 Chevy truck, for a driver. Then I've got to start building a couple vehicles for my two sons. They'll be drivin before ya know it. Actually they've been drivin already, me crazy!

Funny how that works. I drove my parents nuts and now my kids are doing the same. Karma it's a ***

The only driving you should be is dreaming driving that 56 effie. Or at least prepare those kids for college so they can earn the big bucks to buy one.
Anyway I just bought a Corvette as a transplant for the lastest truck project, that will keep me undercover for awhile.

Oh please don't mention school, sucked as a kid and sucks when your the parent. School just started for both my kids today and nothing but chaos. Tons of kids, lots of noise but on the plus side lots of hot moms.
