I have a 1969 ranger short bed 2WD, and i was wondering what motor is in it? Im pretty sure its the 360' but im not sure. Also i need to look up the VIN number whats a good website for that?

It's either a 360 or a 390 depending on what options the truck had. For the tranny I believe they came with C6's

According to the LMC Truck catalog, if your VIN number reads F25BR746001, the F25 is the truck series code.  Yours should be F10 for F100, two wheel drive.  B is the engine code, yours should be Y for 360 or H for 390.  R is the assembly plant and 746001 in unit number.  Hope this is correct.
