Does anyone know for sure if the front crossmember of a 69 c10 is the same as an early to mid 70s c10. I'm wanting to bolt on the disc brake suspension from a 77 and they look the same but sure don't want to get too far into the job and find there is a difference.

You can use a front suspension crossmember and components up to an 87. they'll bolt right up to your 69 frame. There are seven bolts on each side. Six of the seven will line right up. You might have to drill one hole on each side, but it's not critical if you don't feel like it. It's not gonna go anywhere if you don't.

Thanks for the info. What I have is the crossmember for the 69 and components from a 75 (or thereabouts). Will those components bolt up to the 69 crossmember? I had the 69 crossmember powdercoated plus I don't not a later model crossmember so that is why I'm trying to mix the years

They should work with no problem. Try not to bung up the crossmember with the assembly work. You might want to use the steering linkage from the same later unit, just in case there is any pin size difference in the outer tie-rod ends.
