I would like to find out if my instrument clusters for my 1950 Ford uses 12v or 6v. The truck has a 302 in it now and I would like to use the old instruments if possible. I found new gauges for the 51 and up but not 48—50
Thanks

Your stock gauges are 6 volt ... You can use them with the 12 volt upgrade with a voltage reducer 12v to 6v. If you do not care about originality you can use a dash cluster from Sacramento Vintage Ford part #08184-2 or the polished one #08184-3. They have 5 different ones to choose from. That way you can use modern gauges... Dude We need pictures

Thanks for the info. I found the voltage reducer and new gauge face covers from LMC.
