I want to get rid of my stock suspension and brakes, anyone have any ideas on maybe a frame swap or aftermarket front ends to use, and where to get them?

How much are you willing to spend? I'm about to do the same thing on my '52 3/4 ton. I'm going with an MII IFS front susp and swapping out the rear end with a Chevy 12 bolt 3.73 and getting a 4 link rear end from Heidts. I'm going new with the suspension for safety but am scouting junk yards for the 12 bolt. Hope this helps ya.

If you do go with at Mustange II I would go with Heidts. They have suspension packages for $1800.

There are a lot of options out there, all are good. I'm getting ready to do the same. Take a look at Chassis Engineering Inc. out of Iowa, they have bolt on front and rear suspension kits.

Would be nice if Chassis Engineering Inc's website would work. Tried to check them out and nothing.

Industrial chassis has an IFS that is very competitively priced and uses dodge Dakota suspention components. This means a truck suspention under a truck! It means the proper track width, larger 11" rotors, and a much better roll centre than a 'pinto' suspention kit, in which you'd have to upgrade to larger rotors, wider A arms, lengthened rack&pinion to get the same thing. Mustang II is a PINTO folks, don't be fooled. When was a Mustang 2 regailed as a great car anyways? No, really? If it were less than a great handling CAR,[and it was]why would it make a great TRUCK?!! Used, the Pinto components are ten+ years more worn out than Dakota components, also worth considering. And, nearly two inches less wide than your stock suspention, inducing body roll that only xtra monies for heavy duty aftermarket sway bars can correct. The Dodge is near spot on to stock track width.
Mustang II[pinto] crossmembers were born out of companies whose primary concern was light weight and straight shots down drag strips, then adapted to street rods since the jigs were the same.
Then again, GM f-body clips are a good option, but harder to install especially when you get to the part where you have to fab yer own radiator support horns. But hey, you save monies not buying a kit here, and you can even use the trans crossmember.
I seriously doubt a jag suspention is cheap. That's like saying the corvette crossmember kit components are cheap. LOL!!! How many 'junk' donor corvettes do you really run across? Wrecked in the frontend? Jag will work for the rear end, but, cheap? LOL!! That's a good one!!

I'm going to try the s 10 reg cab long box frame swap.I'm looking into making my own mounts for the body and using a 4x4 s 10 rear end and 2 inch spacers on the front.I've also read a pacer front end is a easy swap that also gives you a rack and pinion steering

Be sure to measure those lugs. Some Jags do come with a 5-108 bolt pattern too.

Hmm, $250 for a worn out almost fourty year old ENGLISH suspention that requires tools we don't even have. Sounds like about the right price to me. Now rebuild it. Hoo-rah.

I'm a FNG, been reading these threads researching before I buy an Advance Design. Great entertainment.
Hey ebb_soul, I went to Industrial Chassis Inc. website and also emailed them. They don't make the Dakota ifs for Advance Design, just for 55-59 chevy/GMC. Also 48-52 F1, 53-56 F-100, 57-60 F-100, 61-66 F-100. Someone there must like Fords.
