Have had a '54 Chevy and a '49 Ford truck- rough to good looking driver. I am trying to come up with a price for a stored 55 truck.- Apparently all the parts are in the garage except the engine and tail gate. Some parts have been -cleaned up-short of restored- Ex. the frame looks cleaned if not blasted and painted black. So I assume there is a entire- what is it a 3100- in parts ready to be restored or assembled into a clean driver. I need to figure a price and weather I want to go to the trouble of ordering parts and assembling over several years. Any thoughts? Suggestions would be appreciated. Could not even find a price in Edmund's classic. JC

Ty restore and keep? Restore and sell? To modify into a decent driver? To sell off as parts? What? My 59 appraised at $4800 as a rough unrestored driver. A pile of parts must be worth somewhere around half that. Parts are worth more as parts individually and not as a 'lot' of parts/

It's kind of sad and funny how parts by them self's are worth more.

I would like to assemble the parts that are in good shape, restore or replace necessary parts. Most parts are there except the engine and tail gate. I assume a few smaller parts will be missing. Bumpers have been chromed,i saw a side window cracked. I assume all the int. trim will need to be ordered. No bottom in the truck bed. etc.

Sounds like the start of a long resto.
