I've talked to the guys at TCI at the 2008 SEMA show and seeing there frame first hand I have to say it was built strong. Let us know how the Goodguys show goes and what happens after that. Good luck on your frame.

Hey guys,
I got to talk with a lot of guys this weekend at the Goodguys show. I was a little disappointed in the attendance this year, but it was a great show. I met a couple guys that used a G body graph for the front end. It looked pretty easy and they even used the rear 4 bar from the G body frames. I still think TCI frame is the way I am gonna go. This is a 53 3100 short bed project to answer larnowillo.
I will be posting pic's as I go and I wanted to thank mpayne for keeping me interested in this site. It's awsome to talk with other guys and exchange expirences and ideas.
keep on truckin.........

Thats to bad the attendance was low this year. I hope this isnt how every show is going to be, that would just suck. Anyways glad you kept your interest in the site. And enjoy the forums.

Jaguar?
Lizzen, first off, the brakes are made by lockeed. No , I don't mean lockeed here in Merietta. I mean lockeed ENGLAND.
If you wind up needing any component as a replacment, they are shipped here via BOAT. three weeks out at least.
I don't see how you could accuire a jaguar suspention cheaply, and if you did it's cos that car was trash.
Yer bound to need components either at hand or latter, and they are not easy to come by.
reliability is not what comes to mind with english products, like Triumph, Jag, and especially Landrover.
I could make a Bently suspention work. but, WHY?

Hello I have a Mustang 2 under my truck. I'm still building it, but I have done GM Clips, Volare, and I've also do the Dodge Kit on a buddy of mine 57 all are nice. I have never experienced the issue that are describe here and I have drop spindles. I have TCI unit and I'm happy with them. If you would like to see the install go to http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2143604. I don't want to get into a debate just trying to help. My install is a little different I box the bottom have of the crossmember (where the tube for the a-arms mount) and install extra bracing when I do a Mustang 2 unit.

The only time I've seen anyone use a Jaguar front clip is to make a truck have the steering wheel on the opposite side.

IMHO, Mustang parts are better left under lighter equipment.

If you drive you r truck like a truck, put truck stuff under it.

Honestly, how many Harleys you see running around with bicycle tires?

Doesn't an English car require a a tool set most don't even have?  Still again I don't see why put a wimpy car suspention under a bad ass truck, when there is a cheap and easy alternative.
I think a jags bolt pattern is the same as a chevy, at least, but I could be wrong.
The  Jag dashboard circuit 'board' is a 3000 dollar replacement, which is why my mechanic freind got stuck with one, that cost totaled the  12 yr old car.
I presumed that jags are not cheap alternatives, based largly on that.
So I know of at least one available donor!
I guess if you had use of both front and rear suspentions, it might be viable enuf.
All I can say is I owned a Triumph once.
ONCE...LOL..damn thing caught on fire, by itself, with the switch off...
So I guess I'm not keen on english stuff.

fight nice boys!
It was hard enough to put a Ford part in my truck let alone a jag part.
I ordered the TCI frame and got the cab stripped down this weekend. Tim's hotrod shop is gonna get me a custom firewall and floor next week. I am making good progress on ole Sanford.
Has anybody replaced the front cab mounts under the floor? Any pitfalls I should look for?

Most Jags I've run into do have a 5/4.75 bolt pattern but there are a few that have 5/108.
