Removing my A-Arms

I am in the process of upgrading my 40 to discs and got stuck. I was pulling off the drivers side drum brakes and couldn't get the A-Arms to budge. Are the bushings pressed in? Also the A-Arm cross shaft can't come off as it's hitting the power steering pump and the exahust manifold. My thought was to slide the pump out of the way and free one side and then somehow get the other side off. The chassis and running gear is 74 Nova. The bottom A-Arms I have no clue.  Any ideas?

Thanks, Flathead Red

Well Red,
Since 90 other people can look and not help, I'll try and anwser this for you. The bushings are pressed in. It's best to take them to a machine shop to have the old removed and the new ones put in. Also in regards to the clearance issue, you will have to move the PS pump and possibly remove the manifolds. The bottom ones should unbolt after they are soaked with WD-40 or Kroil. Hope that helps

This was a completely sarcastic response not ment to offend, PO or upset anyone. I am merely making a reference to the vast amount of mechanical skill that is lurking in the background and being mute.
