i am thinking about buying a 75 chevy I found but I am desert guy and really would like 4 wheel and a lift on this thing was wondering if all you experts on these trucks could help me out

If the body is worth it, go find a 4x4 chassis, and swap it over.  Otherwise, go find a 4x4 truck.  The 4x2 frame won't have the correct holes for converting from IFS, to a straight axle.  The motor mounts, and crossmembers are all different, too.

I've seen it done before.  It usually ends up looking like a rigged up POS.
