i dont know if gmc produced a spirit of 76 or not, but chevy did produce a run of 500 SE Spirit Of 76 pickups that came with the LS-6 425hp engines, turbo 400 trannie, and special interior. my wife and i are the second owners of one of them. my wife's nephew ordered ours new at the Russelville Arkansas chevy dealer. all of the SE's that i have ever seen had the same setup. that being said, i have seen regular spirit of 76's that had 350's in them. which does your have? ps: ours now has almost 500 miles on it since a total restoration. we retained everything that came with or in the truck only made it better and more powerful. the engine is as stock appearing as day one, but looks are deciveing. it now has a callies stroker crank, and everything else except the pistons, is com cam. the pistons are keith black flat tops. this is a .90 over bore, with a stroke to come out to a 501ci, that dyno's 750+hp.
