Hello swiffer: There should be a spring on the bottom of the opening after you removed the signal switch just use a star screw driver and push down and turn it in the sqaure hole it will come out then, then remove the large scews in the collar and slip it of if you have to remove the wiring make a drawing of what color goes in each lettered hole, once you have the collar of the pivit pin are on each side there is a special tool for removing them but i have used a proper thread screw and two small hook bars to pull them and works good. Some come easy some not so easy, there is little flat springs under the ignition rake be sure to look how the go before they fall out. Once that section is off there is three screws that hold the next piece on to the tube good chance they are loose when you replace them it is a good idea to locktyt them.If you are that far in i would replace the rack it is the peice that has teeth on it and a D on the end they like to brake and grease it all up good as you put it back together. Have fun!!!!
