Am repowering my 72 C10 SWB with a GMPP Fast Burn ZZ4 engine with the serpentine belt system.  One of the adjustment pulleys on the system hangs below the AC compressor and the OE lower radiator hose won't fit.  Has anyone else had this issue and what hose did you use for the lower radiator hose?  Thanks

can you read the casting number off the water pump.. so i can identify which application they used that pump on.. truck... car.. corvette... that will give me a ball park to look at..

i was working with another friend just today.. on lower radiator hoses...i have a gates hose identification catalog...  so if i can reverse the engine side of the hose...

i might be able to figure out a hose to the radiator...

another question is the lower radiator opening on the same side as the water pump opening..

and yes.. i know that you will have to release the belt and remove the pulley...  please take a photo of the belt routing before doing this... or draw a detailed map.. and triple check it..  include an arrow to indicate loosen the tensioner and tighten the tensioner against the belt. .

what year was your engine built..

i looked up the part number that is listed in the build sheet.. it came back as a normal rotation pump...

please identify the engine assembly part number you ordered...
the part number listed in the build/parts sheet..

and the casting number on the water pump.. i have a water pump catalog so i should be able to reverse it...

when assembling the belt pulleys... also.. please check the smog pump bypass pulley bracket..

there should be serious deflection between the bottom of the ac pulley and the passenger side of the crank pulley..  this would also require more tension on the tensioner... it looks in the you tube video i saw of that motor that the tensioner is almost bottomed out...
