Looking for wiring for a 63 chevy C-20.
Original wiring under dash had shorted out. Was repaired but done wrong and shorted out again melting wires all the way back to the fuse block.
Had another wire loom for a 62 so was able to change all of it out.
Am now in need of the wiring for the gauge cluster that has all the gauges. Not one with warning lights.
Rather have original wiring if possible.
Any leads would be appreciated.

there are a LOT of aftermarket replacement sections available..

have you checked EBAY for sales of used harnesses??

do me a favor...

identify each of the circuits that melted..  and test every device before reconnecting..

there are also fusible links that can be installed.. to prevent wiring harness failures...

a few questions.. do you have a decent wiring diagram for that year of truck...

upload pictures to photobucket and paste a link to them here so we can view them..

Thanks for the advise, found a wiring harness for instrument cluster with all gauges at Classic Industries ($44.00)

Original problem appears to be wiper motor was frozen and was not fused?
Switch was on and I was not aware of it until I saw smoke under dash.
Now have an inline fuse to protect the wiring.

Thanks again.
