I've been a casual CT reader for a long time.

After reading the May 2014 issue I was fairly dissappointed.
There were some nice featured trucks, good show coverage and that was it.

The tech was really soft!!

Another paint buffing article and degreasing an engine and installing headers?

In the story of the smog legal FE engine revival it reads as though the engine still has an engine knock. Yet, in the article there are headers being put on?

I'm all for do-it-yourself budget builds, tech and feature trucks.

Mr. Rizzo has done some awesome budget tech articles in the past that are usually easily duplicated by the average builder in a moderately equipped home garage.
Please do more tech articles Jim!

Grant's builds were a little more ambitious and a lot more interesting, I miss his highly detailed tech articles and fab skills. Even if he did screw up, he showed how to fix it.
Something I've never seen in any other publication.
I feel that I learned from his articles, I think he was pushing himself to become a better fabricator/contributor and we, the readers, benefitted greatly.

Thank god for Ron Covell. That shining light at the end of the magazine.

I realize there are all types of readers, at all different skill sets. (Perhaps there are others that share my opinion).
I also know that there are schedules and deadlines that will always interfere with producing your best work.

The May issue was like reading that other truck magazine.

I've come to expect better from CT.
