I have a 1941 chev Deluxe Master that I am hot rodding and came up with a lot of problems. I am using a 1983 Caprice motor and tranny. I was told the rear end is from a 68 camero but can get the numbers or gear ratio to match. It would appear to be a 10 bolt, Type C rear end. It has the following markings: 67890, C2, E192, JD  G152  l. By turning the rear wheel 1 complete turn I 1.5 complete turns on the drive shaft that should mean it is 1.5 : 1.0 rear end ratio which I am told is not possible? I need the rear end ratio so I can figure out number of teeth I need for the transmission driven gear for the speedometer. The speedometer is a Classic instrument unit from the 70's 75mph/ 135 kmph. I would like to find out what this rear end is out of as it same with the 41 chev. I was told that the rear end and front clip was from a 1968 camero. I can take the rear end apart and count the gears but I really want to know what rear end I have? Would appreciate any help!
Thank you
Terry
